Sportswear giant adidas has made a number of additions to its lifestyle benefits offerings.
The new perks will include travel insurance, dental care, life assurance and critical illness cover, which will also be available to the families of workers, Employee Benefits magazine reports.
Staff can access the privileges through a salary sacrifice scheme set up by the brand.
It is reported that the scheme will be available to the firm’s 1,200 UK staff who have a minimum 12-month contract.
Adidas is one of the most recognised names in the world and the kit supplier has a string of high street stores across the UK.
Compensation and benefits manager Carol Bryson told the publication: “They are at very competitive rates. There is a lot of choice for staff.”
Other companies looking at ways to boost employee engagement through perks were recently told by European Leaders director Ashley Ward that it takes more than simply offering free pizza and cola to keep staff happy.
